Job Description & Selection Criteria
Deutsche Bank recruits Summer Interns into a range of areas, each offering a two month on-the-job experience that allows you to acquire practical work skills to complement your academic achievements. You will be involved in:
- An orientation program in Sydney
- A business-devised training program
- A lunch series hosted by senior management
- A mentor program
- Formal review and feedback sessions
As a TMG intern, you will be working in the following:
TMG forms an integral link between the front-office and the back office and is expected to act as an expert on trade mechanics across a wide variety of products and systems to ensure trading activities are processed in a well contained and fast paced environment. The division is basically split into three main areas, Equity Product, Debt Product and Client Support.
The product support groups provide trade capture support, risk and profit and loss generation for the Sydney and Auckland OTC Derivative, Credit Derivative Trading and Short Term Interest Rate trading desks as well as the Equity Derivatives, Complex Equity and Synthetic Equity Businesses based locally. The businesses are diverse and dynamic, dealing in a range of products from vanilla to complex Equity Derivatives, Exchanged Traded Options and Swaps.
